How To Genocide... With Swagg

Wanna kill the next generation off, before they get a chance to become legal? Tired of "raising" your children in person, and wish you could just let pop culture do it for you? Well thanks to (Spishack), you can watch your young nigglets swagg away at their health with the new Swagg Berry Cigarillos. Don't have a fake I.D., or know an adult that don't give a fuck about your moral being? No problem. They have a street team that does delivery, and may even make housecalls. Do you look out of your window at night, bitch? How many times will they genuinely THROW their impression of us into another "not so helpful" advertisement scheme? I mean seriously. Swagg Berry?! Who the F*** else would they'd be talkin' about? You know somethin', it's not even a racial issue. They are vigorously selling these products to under age children in selected communities, where finance actually happens to be a dilemma. My sentiments don't even follow along the lines of, "what else will they pull?" The only logical concern would be, "What can I do, against it?" Well that's my take on it. You can watch this shit if you want, that'll be YOUR kids carrying breathing machines to prom. That concludes another view from The Forty5th Floor. I'm out.

Can I KICK It?!

Gotta crap wad of shoes? Feel like spittin'? Want to contribute? Do you find yourself drowning in an oasis of shoes, spittin' some lyrics, and thinkin' about things to contribute to? Did I spell contribute, correctly?

October 28th in Foutain Square in the basement of the Murphy Building, there will be all of that in one room. With performances from Nazeeha Khalid, Ashira, Whitney Coleman, and many more, you'll be able to empty your closet, hear some great music, and give to a good cause. Also, you can do all of that for free. So, if you're gonna be bored tomorrow, why not find yourself in Fountain Square with a pair of shoes, kickin' it?

Origin of O-Ren Ishii (Face of "Different")

If you haven't noticed, recently I've stumbled across an artist, by the name of Jesse Boykins III, whose music I have already grown fond of. As obvious as his sense of originality is, the quality that stood out most was his preference of music and style, and the fact that it didn't stifle his ability to sing with a soulful feng-shui. As an artist of many forms, the dilemma relentlessly reoccurring in journeys of development is the question, " How creative can I be without disturbing my talent at its full potential?"

After weeks, maybe months of pondering on such an idea, I fell victim to categorizing and limiting my art. But thanks to @LittleIntrovert, this theory has been diminished. Now, I have the inspiration to do whatever it is I seek to display, without concern of "talent that makes sense" and the only question standing in the pits of my wee-little cerebellum is, "What is genuinely original?" Where does original thought come from, and how can one separate it from the more fraudulence fad-seekers of today's media society? In a world where so many people turn to so many extremities to stand out, who are the people with the genuine "odd ball" gene? Is it in the display, or does it carry itself on the surfacing twist of the tongue? What is the Face of Different?

In 2011, Planet Earth has witnessed everything from trans-racial lifestyles, to obscene piercings, to said sadistic commentary, to trans-gendered citizens. Some people would say change is the most difficult, yet most common aspect of chronological growth. Others would tell you that the world and its presence of man is coming to an abrupt end. But, some might show you the differences being expressed, and allow you to observe that a vast majority of us are simply running out of ideas. After all, isn't it known that the human psyche grows weary of repetition and mundanity of tradition, and in result don't rules get broken, minds get provoked, and eras give birth? Say difference is a necessity, should we leave it up to the Universe and God to produce it's own indigo children? Should we force what naturally comes, and monitor what presents itself as original versus acts of despair? Lately, the main idea of all trends has been to be a certain extensive version of "you". Be it mixing and matching fashion statements through time, or maybe even negligence of hygiene. The conclusion at hand is indeed, do something, anything to be exceptional to the naked eye, and somehow people have still found a way to limit us, by adding the ungodly subject matter of normality. In this case, you claim for sanity and acceptance is at stake when expressing exactly what you want. Without tact, without censorship, without insecurity and concern for others aims and belief systems. Ironically, the dispute has created such a sensation that once again the people genuinely different are exiled. It seems as though the face of different will never be accepted in mass appeal, and that will be scar that serves as the insignia for those of us who are... original.

But like, foreal check this nigga out.

Real Or Foreal

An hour long awkward silence, interrupted by two young men discussing something of the other, becomes a disturbingly surreal reiteration of every cliche "black folks" quotable. An irrationally tattooed middle-aged man, centered in the back row of the bus, is slightly bending his attention toward the two younger passengers conversation. One of them mentions a name that strikes interest to the prehistoric Lil Wayne impersonator. Suddenly, along with a kind and friendly nod, "Big Wayne" concurs and continues on about the judge by saying, "Yeah, he coo..." The man's reason for having favoritism toward this particular judge was inspired by how light the sentences received were, through the ruling of that court. "Shoot first time, he was just like probation, second time probation, and the third time ninety days house arrest. Psh! What's that gone do?" Apparently, lightly punishing a criminal is the thing to do, in this judicial system. He continued mocking those who faced time for traffic violations, as if the goal of everyone should've been to become the greater threat to society. As always, that incident lead to the question at hand. What makes my people think in a paradox?

It seems as though Americans, African-Americans in particular, have the notion to reverse everything to stand for the exact opposite of what it really means, by definition. For instance, why is it that this old-young man feels so confidently righteous about his exceptional criminal record? Although it's true never to judge a book by its cover, there comes an even more difficult task to deny the book of its title, when each page repeats itself in the top right corner. Leave it up to lower class black people to remind you that fantasy, idealism, and denial are the cornerstones to reality, and all of its adversities. As we all know, entertainment is the exaggeration of all that is real. Listen closely to the music. The constant reminder that making an honest living in society, with the hopes to raise a complete family and leave a legacy of strong morals and even stronger foundation, is most definitely NOT the way to live. Fast cars, high priced fashion, little clue of what is to become of the future, and a predominately torn relationship with God and self seem to hold a stronger position in this kind of truth, than the truth itself. The question isn't where did all of this start, but, "What the hell?" If being blind has ever had a language, it has to be exposed in the careless twisting of words of wisdom such as, "God save us...", "There's gotta be a better way...", and the INFAMOUS, " It's all good...". Would you like to know why? Because, oxymoronically, they all coincide with one another. The order goes, blame everything around you with the obvious idea that you are the only reason for your predicament, become motivated enough to at least express your opinion with a weak and cliche cry for help, then when it's all said and done, submit and accept the corruption and chaos that surrounds you, then cultivate and emerge in it.

The story is extremely sad but true, that our people have forced themselves to, not only grow a comfort but, take part in the destruction we are so often associated with. Why? Take a long look at the history of this country, alone. In all unadulterated honesty, there is something that can and has been done to fix the current mindset of the masses. The only problem is the very solution itself. The people sitting down, are set in the way of the people looking to stand and move onward. The race to genetic superiority is always the main criteria, but as of now, the fight is attained between ourselves. The moral of the story wasn't that the man somehow matured and took a different path, but when was someone going to reach out to him, and show him that path. Bliss is the silent agreement. When one decides not to speak on an issue, they've just signed a rhetoric approval of the circumstances facing them. Now is the perfect time be real, or foreal.

The Coroners

If you haven't heard, you will very soon. Noddanuff teams up with Pope Adrian Bless to body bag tracks done unjust. Remember the ending of 'Ol' Yeller'? It's alot like that. Suck Fist

What does the bible say about anger, and how does common sense differ? Since forever, western civilization has been to and fro' with what to do with rage ( along with many different things). Many times, it's given the reputation of destruction and conclusive regret. Quite recently, it's been expressed through boastful a displays of power, but only in the more theatrical sense. Still, to whom does its morale value serve as an advantage, and to whom as a disadvantage? Malcolm once referenced to is as "a gift". Now for historical reasons, there's probably a gargantuan amount of people who would deem that quote irrelevant. Even then, isn't a man of such stature, or any stature at all, entitled to his opinion? Most people would follow the public-friend regime and recite the well-known ( among fellow Christians ) , " Be quick to listen and slow to anger..."passage. Also through historical events, many examples have accomplished plenty through non-violent approaches. Now, it seems the standing question is; does the approach matter? Is it the presentation of an insensitive that renders its means possible, or could it be considered the purity of intention that touches the hearts of correspondents? A simple debate between professionalism and passion. To digress, anger does have its different forms. A few of these different faces are recognized as personality traits, such as: aggressive, passive, and passive-aggressive. Aggression, being the more common and familiar form, can be seen at times as an act of irrationality or mindlessness. Some cases being impulsive, others being excessively forceful, with or without tact. And of course, everything has its pro's and con's. Where aggression generates the satisfaction of being progressive, often times the downfall can be a result of the obsessive behavior. Most people would find themselves oppressed in certain conditions, and soon become offensive, ultimately transforming into a "Big Nasty McGriddle" of angry rebels. Nobody wants Che throwing cocktails at the 3 in the morning, because they feel neglected and unimportant. Second is the passive trait. The sweet, soft-spoken sibling, doing their best to stay out of the way, yet always winding its way back in the scapegoat position. Everyone knows that the law of nature goes along the lines of, "Kill or be killed." Where there is someone willing to back down, there is his arch nemesis anticipating to pounce, like no tomorrow. But, there is a small percentage of those that believe in such methods as positive reinforcement. Seeing that most commonly, hurt people hurt people, some seek to offer an emotional haven, of sorts. Lending out a hand of peace, serenity, and understanding may play the part of not only getting the job, but also offering a sense of tranquility in the process.... NEXT! And last, but absolutely, positively not least, there's the well-spoken, well played characteristic... passive-aggressive. The least favorite of the trio, for the fact that it is known for its tedious element of surprise. What more can be said? Anytime you can make a big impression, why not make it silent, but deadly? I guess what could conclude this segment is that anger is simply a state of mind, and how one chooses to approach it will manipulate the outcome.

What's Goin' On?

I'm at a point in life where I'm either inspired "give all" or "give up". I was read a book by the ultimately BORING Schneidman, that spoke on the different forms of suicide contemplation. Three examples that stuck with me were; cessation, continuation, and I think interuptive. Cessation was a result of events that happen on and off that cause one to seek relief through suicide, continuation is when a constant series of thoughts take place, and "interuptive" is of course when one event is viewed to be catastrophically unchangeable and instantly the only sense of escape or refugee is in the form of suicide. I didn't mention that for any personal suggestions, or aspects of my own, but it's relevant in a sense that mankind has come to such a predicament that the most common solution, lately, has been mass destruction. Some people may say it's a war between Heaven and Hell, some say an alien invasion of sorts, some even say the entire galaxy is going to turn against the planet in a barrage of comets, asteroids, and imploding stars that turn to black holes in space. Honestly, I think it's all a HUGE defense-mechanism. Everybody wants everything to up and disappear, with no repercussions toward them, personally. By the looks of it, the world has been ending for the last 2011 years, after Christ... Seriously? 2011 years, and God, the aliens, and the Milky Way STILL haven't made their move yet? Haven't you noticed that every decade there's been an apocalyptic scare that sweeps the nation off its feet, then nothing happens? Now, 2012 is an honest enough number to speak for its own accuracy, because number one, it's written down in an old book, as if people didn't lie before the "manifest destiny" of America. No. 2, maybe it's because the number doesn't look so cliche and predictable, and people are starting to accept that some truths aren't sensationally sound. Me? I'm not buyin' it. The world has been in worst shape. No ones traveling continent to continent killing millions, and locking them away in concentration camps, nobody's slaying villages looking for Dead Sea Scrolls. I think people just don't want to see themselves as evil, so they come up with ALL of these loop holes to say, " The Devil made me do it.". Look, I do bad things, all the time. I apologize more than niggas that love playing the board game, Sorry. What is with people sending drug lords, rapists, murderers, and etc to "better places"? Everything's good, except this pseudo-concept of wrong, known as Satan. Everything is HIS fault, or the governments fault, or the medias fault. Everyone's fault except the people doing it, or allowing it to happen. WE'RE ALL EVIL. There is no escape from YOUR dirty deeds. If you smoke, you will initially come across lung cancer, if you have unprotected sex, with a fully fertile individual, you will have a child out of wed-lock who WILL be raised in a single-parent home, if one of you decides to bounce. If you jump, you gone fall. Stop asking God to beset the dumb shit you decide to delude the Earth with. I don't think God is going to watch us destroy his amazingly, amazing system of life, then say, "No hard feelings, I'll make you anew. *giggles*." Somewhere along life, a person needs to clean their own damn room, and this hoarding mentality we carry is outrageous. We've got everything wrong with ever where. People are starting to believe that humans are innocent in all of their endeavors, and miraculously, something else is responsible for the execution of it. Actually, people have stopped denying it, and have become submissive to the comfort of falsehood. I know people who will stab a newborn baby, then say, "It ain't mine." , or "They can make another." These people will wake up the next morning and STILL think that reading a BOOK will suffice for the unstarted life they took. Where are the people who know that they have to be their own hero, their own savior, and fix this SHIT? Are we really gonna watch it all fall, and pretend the sky won't fall down on us all? All and all, what's goin' on?

The thing with Skulls

You ever wonder why the human skull is so often associated with death? You'd think, because it serves as a shelter for the most power attribute of the human anatomy (brain) it would be used to represent philosophy or intellect, right? Well, the mind is sought out to be almost infinite and carries an outstanding amount of capabilities. And many times, when a human encounters a matter that he cannot understand or become familiar with, he usually compensates by categorizing that object with the paranormal phenomena. Perhaps, it's the symbol of death because of the raw reality/presents of mortality. To be introduced to such a blunt form of vulnerability can actually be quite overwhelming to one who has only witnessed living, and naturally fears the opposite. Indeed, death is only said to be a negative aspect, when truthfully, know one knows. Death is the mere presence of the unknowing, and could possibly be the very evidence we have to "infinity". Seeing how must people are too narrow-minded to take that approach, the human skull plays as the median between those who seek to venture the dimensions of the universe, and those who fear them. All in all, the human skull is indeed shocking and stimulating to all who gaze upon it. Just don't call it "EVIL". Nigga, you got one..... dumb ass
